Blend Child Safety Standards

Last updated: 25 August 2026

Blend has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

Blend's dating and matchmaking services are intended for adults aged 18 years and older.

Prohibited behaviour

The following are strictly prohibited on Blend, without exception:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in any form
  • Sexual exploitation of minors
  • Grooming of any person under 18
  • Sexual solicitation involving minors
  • Sharing or requesting sexual imagery involving minors
  • Trafficking of children
  • Sexualisation of minors
  • Coercion or exploitation of children
  • Any attempt to use Blend to facilitate child abuse

Age restriction

You must be at least 18 years old to use Blend's dating and matchmaking functionality. We collect your date of birth during registration and automatically validate that you are 18 or older. Accounts that cannot confirm an adult date of birth cannot publish a dating profile, and our database rejects profiles whose date of birth indicates the member is under 18.

If we learn that a member is under 18, the account will be removed.

Reporting a child-safety concern

If you see anything on Blend that suggests a child is at risk, report it immediately:

  • Use the Report button on any member card in the member gallery and choose “Underage concern”
  • Email our team directly at info@blendforyou.com with the subject line “Child safety”

Child-safety reports are prioritised above all other reports. If a child is in immediate danger, please also contact your local emergency services.

How Blend responds

When a child-safety concern is raised, Blend may:

  • Immediately restrict suspicious accounts
  • Suspend or permanently terminate accounts
  • Preserve relevant evidence
  • Investigate reports promptly
  • Cooperate with lawful investigations
  • Report suspected illegal activity to the appropriate authorities where required

Cooperation with authorities

Blend will cooperate with lawful investigations and comply with applicable child-safety laws, including reporting suspected child exploitation to the appropriate authorities where legally required.
